Hello Everyone!

I have been MIA for weeks here.  I posted a political blog which apparently didn't fly over too well with everyone. LOL.  Tis alright though, as some people just would rather discuss how their pumpkin pie flopped and their kids drew all over their best tablecloths then discussing politics.  It's probably safer that way anyway LOL

I've been doing alot of revamping in my personal life here, both spiritually and with all of my relationships.(family, jared, and John..not that john is really a "relationship"...but he affects my personal life on a daily basis)  So, I'm in a happier frame of mind and continue to look for a job that suits my needs and my family's needs.  I see a better year for me ahead, and by the looks of things I'm sure that this year will end on a positive note for once.(aaaahhhh....deep relieved sigh here)

I hope you all are doing well.  I am so sorry I can't read all the blog posts of all my friends on my list.  And there are so many other blogs that look so interesting to read but I just can't find the time to pencil in those blogs either.  I am baffled at how some of the members here can have a family, a job, and social circle and STILL manage to blog every day on here, myspace, and all over the internet as well. LOL....You get a gold star from me for the year! LOL

Anyway, just wanted to say hello to all of you out in the Covenspace community.  I do hope that your year is starting out on a positive note and continues that way throughout the year.

After a legal battle in the las vegas district court to be seen and heard at the Democratic presidential debates, Dennis Kucinich won the district court against MSNBC/GE and all those corporate big wigs.  I am asking that you support Dennis(not financially if you do not have the funds to do so, but if you do it would help immensely) and caucus/vote for him in the primaries.  Corporate America is running our airwaves and we need to take back our right to ALL the facts, and ALL the candidates and not just what the sponsors and owners of Mega dollar TV stations and media WANT us to hear.

It's time for a change, and it's time to not only change but make a difference.  I cried for Dennis when he lost to the Supreme Court's ruling on this matter.  "Because the debate is on Cable and not on airwave tv.."was MSNBCs argument.  this is ridiculous.  I believe that as Americans we have a right to know ALL THE CANDIDATES regardless of if they have 1%, 5% or 80% of the votes.

Who Agrees with me here???

I am fed up, and I hope you as Americans, As Pagans, as Voters stand up for our rights and the rights of ALL the candidates seeking the Presidency.  Our voices need to be heard!

Seems as though time is just flying here.  I haven't had a moment to breathe since I got back from Indiana.  Our flight was delayed as there was a massive snowstorm that hit the day we left Chicago Midway.  Oh that was a nightmare, but we managed to make it home safely.  Thank you for the prayers you sent out for our safe journey.

My mom was sick and then I got sick and it wasn't a very Merry Christmas.  I was just glad to be there with all of my children and my family.  I'm hoping we can fly back out there in two years.  My mom's sixtieth bday is this summer, and I would LOVE to be there for it, if it is meant to be we will be there.

I have to go back to work.  John's bonus was cut DRASTICALLY and seeing as how he wasn't thinking when he signed the mortgage loan when we bought this house, he was counting on that bonus check to pay the mortgage.  I told him that was a mistake, maybe next time he'll listen to me instead of treating me like the hired help and the idiot he THINKS i am.  Oh did my mom give him an earful when we went back.  She told him he better not ever touch jared again, and he better learn to be nicer to the kid because he's had a hard life.  Then she told him to stop treating me like the village idiot that he thinks i am because I am alot smarter than he gives me credit for. (go mom! LOL)  I know I'm smarter, but there have been times where he's made me second guess myself.  Oh well...new year...new plans, new changes....life will be good this year!

Kids had fun in indiana.  The first day we were there they built a snow man with the scarves and hats and sticks for hands and rocks for eyes, ohhhhhhhhh they were so excited to see the snow. First time they ever got to see it and play in it too.

I guess that's all for now.  I will try and catch up on all your blogs here.  I've been such an awful friend, but my life is so chaotic anymore I don't know if i am coming or going.

I leave today for Indiana, and let me tell you I can't wait to see the wonderful white stuff although I dread the subzero temps.  And now I'm catching a cold.(uggghhh)  I have to beat this cold before tomorrow....lots of tea I think.  I wish i could get my hands on some sobe green tea.  I swear by that stuff!!! No kidding.

Okay must run, this HAS to be a quick post as I have soooooooo much to do.  Was going to pull an "all nighter" but this cold started kicking in and I fell asleep.

Well, it's the long awaited night of the Geminid shower.  I've seen two so far.  I just made myself a cup of coffee and it finally beeped, so I need to get off this chair and back outside.  I have some cookies I baked last week that are sitting on the counter.  Gingersnaps and a gingerbread man sugar cookie LOL  Goes well with Amaretto coffee, at least I hope so LOL.

Just had to see what was going on here at CS.  I'm sure most of you are doing the same thing.  Bundling up with a blanket or that someone special(or both) and enjoying Mother Nature's Blanket of stars and Meteors(asteroids).  I love this.  When the peak shower hits, I'll see if it's worth waking the kids for.

Time to go, don't want to miss anymore of the spectacular sky show.
